M.L. here; I'm the co-writer for SFS. As we mentioned before, trailer work has started, albeit slowly. Hey, Julius is a busy guy. In fact, we've all got more important priorities than the comic. At least it's coming along.
One of my friends is a beta reader, and asked me why we chose to have multiple enemies in the comic. As you know by now, there are four set groups of enemies:
-The Bowman Empire
-The Insectomorphs
-The Valentia Group
-The Triad
Yes, that's a lot of enemies. But think about it this way: in the real world, is there only one set enemy? Is there one set group of people everyone hates?
-The Bowman Empire is really weak because of the recovery from Aparoid Wars. Nevertheless, Bowman will take a major role alongside the insectomorph threat.
-We don't know much about the Insectomorphs yet (We as in you.)
-The Valentia Group is mainly organized crime. They only get involved in things they stand to gain something from. They don't like being out in the open, and they try to keep the heat off them as much as possible. They will not ally with any of the three remaining threats.
-The Triad could be anyone you know. People who seem totally different, but unite under one cause behind closed doors. And when in large numbers, they can cause absolute destruction. They operate under a group mentality; when angry people are close together, they feed off each other.
As such, the groups are based off what we see as the greatest threats:
-Tyranny (Bowman)
-The Unknown (Insectomorphs)
-Corruption (Valentia)
-Chaos (Triad)
I hope this makes sense.
EDIT: (by Kuba) Hey guys, sorry for interrupting, but M. made a small mistake out there and I've changed it to not cause any ruckus. Sorry for the inconvenience ;)
